Day 1 Arrival Makassar (D)
Meeting service with our guide after arrival at Makassar airport. Transfer to Sahid Jaya Hotel (or similar) in Makassar, welcomes drink during check in at the hotel. Dinner will be served at 20.00 hrs in the hotel, free for the rest of the day. |

Day 2: Makassar (B,L,D)
Breakfast will be served at 07.30 hrs. We will start at 08.30 hrs with exploring Makassar city. We will start with the Old Dutch fortress “Fort Rotterdam”, this colonial building is located on Losari Beach and our guide will tell us much about the history of this fortress. Then we will visit the traditional Paoterethe Buginese harbor, many sailing boats are waiting to go to East Indonesia. We will visit the huge Monument Mandala, this is a smaller copy of the huge Monas tower in the capitol Jakarta. The guide will tell us stories about the old United East India Company (VOC).
The lunch will be served at 13.00 hrs in a local restaurant; we will enjoy Indonesian food with delicious seafood and fish. After the lunch we will visit the Tomb of Sultan Hasanuddin in Gowa, Gowa is located just outside Makassar. Sultan Hasanuddin (1629-1670) was a brave king figure and the leader of the resistance of Gowa soldiers to the Dutch. Because of this bravery, he awarded with an epithet as "Eastward Cock". Come visit a number of king's Tomb and also Gowa Monarchic family and taste the bravery values and patriotism spirits of Gowa.
The guide will bring you back to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. You have a free program for the rest of the day, so you can discover Makassar’s luxurious shopping Malls or traditional souvenirs shops. Tonight our diner will be served at the hotel’s restaurant. |

Day 3: Departure Makassar (B,L)
Breakfast served at 08.00 hrs, after breakfast we will visit the fantastic Malino Hill resort, Malino is a pine forest plain with beautiful flowers; fruits and also typical vegetable become the uniqueness of this area which is residing in height 1.050 m from the sea level. The Typical fresh air of mountain region, a beautiful tea plantation, a great waterfall and also cool natural bath progressively add the fascination at this place to be visited. We will lunch in a local restaurant, the guide will transfer you to the Makassar airport at the end of the afternoon, and then you can catch your flight back to Malaysia. |
